IMG air bearings - a reliable component for high precision mechatronic systems
Aerostatic air bearings are characterized by their friction-free and stiff operation, particularly for high-precision motion systems. Air bearings technology by IMG uses porous graphite as the bearing material, which achieves good emergency running properties and protects the counter surfaces. The use of air bearings enables particularly high robustness, dynamics and reproducibility for your kinematic systems.
The load capacities of our air bearings are tailored to common linear motor systems. Both round and rectangular standard air bearings with load capacities up to the kilonewton range are available. For clean room environments with very high cleanliness requirements, we offer air bearings with integrated air extraction.
Our innovative magnetic connection enables very simple assembly and space-saving connection to your system. You can find a range of compatible mounting accessories in our assortment.
